PATHAAN MOVIE PLOT:-
The Indian government will repeal Article 370, which grants Jammu and Kashmir special status, in 2019. The news has an impact on Qadir, a cancer-stricken Pakistani army general who decides to exact vengeance on India. He enters into an agreement with Jim, the leader of "Outfit X," a private terrorist organization. Meanwhile, Pathaan, a former RAW agent, and his senior officer, Nandini Grewal, establish the "Joint Operations and Covert Research" (JOCR) unit to recruit former RAW agents who were forced to retire due to previous trauma or injury but still want to serve the country.
Pathaan and his team travel to Dubai to stop Outfit X's plans to attack the President of India at a scientific conference, thanks to the acceptance of RAW joint secretary Colonel Sunil Luthra. They soon realize, however, that their true plan was to kidnap two scientists, Dr. Farooqui and Dr. Sahani, and that the information they were given about the impending attack on the President was a ruse to mislead them. Pathaan tries to stop Jim from attacking the scientists' convoy.
A fight ensues where Jim manages to escape with Dr. Sahan. During the agency's discussion, Luthra reveals that Jim was a former RAW agent and associate of Kabir Dhaliwal who received the Vir Puraskar for bravery when the agency failed to find his body when his wife and unborn child were killed by Somali terrorists. negotiations went awry. He apparently faked his death to get revenge on the agency and the state for not saving his family.
Meanwhile, Pathaan learns about a code word called "Raktbeej" and also that the people who died in Dubai were ex-agents and their money was transferred from the account of Spanish Pakistani doctor Rubina "Rubai" Mohsin. He travels to Spain and is captured by Jim's men, where he also learns that Rubai is a former ISI agent. When Jim leaves his hideout, Rubai attacks Jim's men and escapes with the Pathans. Rubai reveals that the Raktbeej are in Moscow, where they travel to steal it before Jim does. But Rubai betrays Pathan and gets him arrested by the police. It turns out that Jim used Rubai to get Pathan to steal Raktbee for himself. Pathan is captured and taken to jail by train, but is rescued by Avinash "Tiger" Singh Rathore.
Three years later, Pathan travels to Africa and captures Jim's henchman Raaf. He meets Nandini and reveals that Jim bought two saber rockets, while Nandini reveals Rubai's location in Paris. Pathaan meets Rubai, who reveals that Raktbeej is a mutated smallpox virus forcibly developed by the imprisoned Dr. Sahani on Jim's orders. He also expresses his guilt for betraying the Pathans, not knowing that his country was planning such an attack. They travel to Jim's laboratory in Siberia and barely manage to recover one of the spheres containing the virus, while Jim escapes with the other sphere. Luthra and Nandini arrive at Jim's lab to take the ball back to the Indian research facility to develop the vaccine. Luthra also arrested Rubai for questionable loyalty.
At the Indian Research Institute, Dr. Farooqui presents the ball to Nandini. Jim calls them and reveals that the ball has already spread the virus into the facility. The infected scientists and Nandini die in the facility, shooting themselves to stop the virus from spreading. The facility is later destroyed in a controlled explosion. Jim issues an ultimatum to evacuate Indian soldiers from Kashmir within 2 hours. Pathaan questions Raaf about the location of the missile and learns that the missile is located in Afghanistan. After rescuing Rubai, they lure Jim's companions into a trap and attack Jim's base. Rubai kills Qadir before activating the missile containing the virus. Pathan chases after Jim with a jetpack and they both fall into the cabin.
Meanwhile, Rubai deactivates the missile, but notices that Raktbeej is not on the missile, but in a passenger plane, which is about to land in Delhi. He informs Pathan who notices that Jim has a lighter. Luthra calls air traffic control to stop the plane from landing in Delhi. Pathan and Jim have a brutal fight in the cabin, which causes the cabin to slide down a cliff. Despite stabbing Jim, the Pathaan steals the lighter, disables the Raktbeej, and throws Jim out of the cabin as the foundation begins to crumble. As Jim holds the plank, the Pathaan takes off his Vir Puraskar, deeming him unworthy. He steps on and breaks the plank Jim was holding, causing him to apparently fall to his death. Later, Pathaan is reinstated as RAW and appointed head of JOCR, while Nandini is posthumously awarded the Vir Puraskar for her bravery.
In the middle scene, Pathan and Tiger are seen considering retirement and recommending young agents to replace them, but ultimately decide to continue fighting the threat.
